Comfortably situated in what was once a landmark diner, Martins
831 isn't a classic gallery, but exclusively shows the original work
of artist Eric Maurus, a French artist who grew up in Guethary
near Biarritz and next door to Spain in the Basque region. Eric
inherited a very graphic and strong use of color, as well as a love
of working with his hands from his grandfather, Edmund, a
famous Parisian artist and advertising man in the 1950's who
was responsible for many Air France and Chrysler posters of the
era. Hours Tuesday - Saturday 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
