On your next visit to downtown Hot Springs, be sure to drop by
the recently opened Martins 831, located at 831 Central Avenue.
Comfortably situated in what was once a landmark diner,
Martins 831 is the embodiment of creator Aimee de Renouards'
eclectic and romantic tastes. Browse through a wide assortment
of flea market finds mixed with antique chandeliers, distressed
French and American painted furniture dressed in vintage
upholstery. Additionally, Aimee has great taste in linens -- she
carries fine linens for the bedroom as well as French kitchen
linens. All original fine artwork and commissioned portraiture's
by French artist Eric Maurus, who grew up in Guethary near
Biarritz. Hailing originally from San Diego, owner Aimee de
Renouard, says she wanted a shop that had a little bit of
everything, "When I went to find the stuff I liked, I couldn't.
That's how I got the idea for the store." explained de Renouard.
Drop by 831 Central Avenue Tuesday through Saturday from
11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. or call (501) 623-8888 for more
information about Martins 831 and Eric Maurus' artwork.
